The Ruiners

The Ruiners Suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except Liz and Rick, well maybe just Liz. Just met the ruiners in Oslo, Norway and talked to Liz half the night. Cool girl, down to earth, but her band... WTF. What a bunch of lame ass assholes. Erik was cool but damien the drummer was a fucking jerk off. I felt like I was back in 7th grade arguing with this douchebag about WW2 and his grandpappy fighting in the army. Guess what Damien, the fucking war wasn't about you or your grandpappy or your fucking stupid ego. So fuck you and your sly remarks made after you walked away. And the fact you walked a half mile then came back to take a whole pack of a Norwegians proud cuban cigars to smoke later just shows how much of a douchebag you are. And after I saw you the second time walking home, to have your long nose, long faced, long haired band member give me attitude was just over the edge. I said what I thought about you and your crap band, let alone what I said to Damien who was too busy trying to hook up with the norwegian marketeer to notice. Fuck you. Your sound is old news. Sorry Liz of "the ruiners" but your band name says it all. You might think about joining a band who isn't so into themselves and start playing with musicians who are smart. Are all people from detroit this lame? You're the first and last I wish to meet.

Haha. Yeah I left this post after I came home kinda drunk and pissed. The night was surely a "you had to be there" kinda night. If you never talk shit about someone after just meeting them and almost fighting then you're not human. Redboy, am I sorry I offended you with this post, hell no.

No way dude.. I was there!! Seriously, outside the Last Train in Oslo.. I was there!! You were the dude from L.A. in the Jamaica shirt - Hell yeah, burn one for Bob (I do everyday).. You were just standin' up for your rights (or is it sittin' down?) whatever.. And drummer guy was like "blah blah blah Hitler was bad blah blah".. and you were like "blah blah blah Buddah told me to punch you in the heart blah blah" and I'm thinking right on bro, that is so Son of Sam.. and drummer guy is like "give me all your cigars now!" and your like "there's nothing wrong with gay porn" and I'm like Cool! Broham is throwin out a flag in the heat of battle.. Hell yeah!!

Haha, Gerbil that is some funny shit. I guess you must have been there. What was even funnier was seeing the band getting grub from Deli De Luca when I was walking home. They thought I was coming after them but I was just on my way home. My one remark "you didn't make it that far" started a whole other fued that I wasn't interested in. I think it was a whole lot of miscommunication, but that drummer really took it to heart. He did call me gay after he was about 40 feet away which is pretty funny. It was a sight to see. But I'm glad you saw the heated part where I almost punched that guy, just for being a punk ass. But he wanted to shake hands instead. Just another night out on Oslo.

Hi Jeff, when you make cruel comments about someone's physical features it sound hateful and potentially racist. You admit you "left this post after I came home kinda drunk and pissed". Maybe your drunken memory is not accurate? Perhaps your drinking is the real problem here. I saw the band live, and met some of them at Caven, they were great and very cool to me. You sound very frustrated with your life.

good luck, Moeid

Is not liking a band's music potentially racist too? Ha. I have no idea how you came to the conclusion that pointing out someone's nose is potentially racist. How about liking Mexican food over say Thai, is that potentially racist?

I admit that pointing out someone's physical attributes out of angst is not nice but I didn't want to retract the post because it was honest at the time and even though it showed my childishness I want to keep it as a reminder that I am human.

I also want to remind you that certain things in life don't mix, like oil and water or say me and the ruiners.

I think some people have too much time on their hands. Whatever. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Who really cares what you think anyway. As long as the Ruiners had a great time, had the chance to visit Oslo, play their music, was all that mattered anyway. So if you want to diss someone, go look in a mirror!

Thanks for those wise words and for taking the time to diss someone for dissing someone.
