Renaissance Affair
Sweet relief calms me down
Makes me drown
Lost and found
Neighbours complain
Sheets are stained
Hotel shower
The best around
Spacing from
Paris to New York
Silver sunglasses
Silver phone
Connect us to someone
Who doesn't know
About these feelings we can't control
People they want us to fall down
But we won't ever
Touch the ground
'Cause we're perfectly balanced
We'll float around
'Til noone is near
Do you hear this sound
Spacing from
Paris to New York
Silver sunglasses
Silver phone
Connect us to someone
Who doesn't know
About these feelings we can't control
This strange feeling captures us
It generates this huge fuzz
I miss you all the time
I must face
I miss your touch and your embrace
Makes me drown
Lost and found
Neighbours complain
Sheets are stained
Hotel shower

Funny Little Frog
Honey lovin you is the greatest thing
I get to be myself and I get to sing
I get to play at being irresponsible
I come home late at night and I love your soul
I never forget you in my prayers
I never have a bad thing to report
You’re my picture on the wall
You’re my vision in the hall
You’re the one I’m talking to
When I get in from my work
You are my girl, and you don’t even know it
I am livin out the life of a poet
I am the jester in the ancient court
You’re the funny little frog in my throat
My eye sight’s fading, my hearing’s dim
I can’t get insured for the state I’m in
I’m a danger to myself I’ve been starting fights
At the party at the club on a Saturday night
But I don’t get disapproving from my girl
She gets the all highlights wrapped in pearls..
You’re my picture on the wall
You’re my vision in the hall
You’re the one I’m talking to
When I get in from my work
You are my girl, and you don’t even know it
I am livin out the life of a poet
I am the jester in the ancient court
You’re the funny little frog in my throat
I had a conversation with you at night
It’s a little one sided but that’s allright
I tell you in the kitchen about my day
You sit on the bed in the dark changing places
With the ghost that was there before you came
You’ve come to save my life again
I don’t dare to touch your hand
I don’t dare to think of you
In a physical way
And I don’t know how you smell
You are the cover of my magazine
You’re my fashion tip, a living museum
I’d pay to visit you on rainy Sundays
I’ll maybe tell you all about it someday
I get to be myself and I get to sing
I get to play at being irresponsible
I come home late at night and I love your soul

We are the sleepyheads
Tired like the beggar with the cold inside his bones
Looking for the pleasure that he knew was so far gone
So far gone
I took a turn to myself
And I was surprised, cause I saw everyone who ever I had loved
I felt a whole lot better after that
People look at us and they think were doing fine
People look at us cause they see us all the time
All the time
But they never take to us
We've been in this town so long we may as well be dead
So long as people turn their heads
And cross the street whenever we walk on by
Someone told the truth when it really mattered most
The beauty of the moment is the beauty sadly lost
Sadly lost
So I went around to your house
Over tea and gin we talked about the things we read
In Luke and John the things he said
We're always mourning, we are the sleepyheads
Looking for the pleasure that he knew was so far gone
So far gone
I took a turn to myself
And I was surprised, cause I saw everyone who ever I had loved

I Love Prophet MUHAMMED
I Kiss You!
I NEED a little Phatty...NEED people. Also, I love Mozart, have since I was little. I'd listen to Beach Boys, Bee Gees, the Beatles (wow, lots of B's) and Mozart. I lived in So Cal and my dad was a beatnik. Mom was in school getting a masters in Musicology. I was very tan and blonde, and I loved Mozart and was not ashamed.

Synthesizers, Theremins and Little Phatty's

Oooh, the sound of synthesizers and theremins. Bringing electricity to life via sound. How much fun to hear spacey sounds that float your thoughts off into the ether? Did you know moog just came out with a new synth themselves? It's called the Little Phatty and looks freakin sweet. It does less then their full fledged voyager but also costs less.
I want me a Little Phatty. :)

Damn SEE GULZ
Sometimes I sit in the bath listening to Morrisey and then I wonder if I'm being a little dramatic, which only makes me laugh, then sadly cry at the fact that I'm absolutely crazy. Plus, I can drive a boat (which I already knew but the other day in my bathtub I remembered it), which is handy if we ever all go on a cruise and el capitan dies at the wheel. Score.
Yo, find a mug for me thats so big I have to strain to pick it up.
I am dreaming SO weird lately. Hm. Oh, and sometimes I'm Audrey Hepburn and my scarf starts to blow off and my best friend Kris, who is Bridget Bardot in my dreams, well she comes over and ties it tight around my chin and says "darling, you mustn't wear it so loose, the seagulls will have an absolute HAYday with it!" and tromps off.

Audio Books are Fun
What's better then reading your favorite author? Hearing their work read outloud by them or a professional that's what. Working online or going for a walk I like to listen to audio books on all types of different things like buddhism, beat poetry, marketing or whatever. Right now I'm listening to All Marketers Are Liars and The Big Moo by Seth Godin. If you haven't gotten into digital audio books then I suggest looking into it. It might make your work day go by a little faster if your stuck at a day job in front of a computer.

play
Question marks the sunbeam
Hollowed out tree trunks
We used to play as kids
War, hide n seek, balloons
Hollowed out ponds and pools
to skate in off on
dirty kids with nothing to do
planning and designing
making music with buckets

Instant Panic
Doctors comfort
sounds in ultrawaves
show us healthy movement.
Who delegates the right to
make me sick?
Simplify your explanations...
don't take my/your water!
5 inch needles into my stomach
just to find out if you're...
...going to be normal...
...going to be smart...
...going to need assistance...
They quote statistics...
"2 percent! 2 percent chance he'll have Downs Syndrome...but if you think of it this way, Mrs. E, its a 98 percent chance he'll be normal. Doesn't that sound so much better? Don't blame yourself, its a genetic fluke. There's nothing you could have done...Anyway (so casually...) you'll find out in 10 days. Thats when we get the results back"
but I wonder (every second of the day/night)...
Could I have taken my vitamins with better frequency?
Did I take enough folic acid? Am I too old to have a baby?
...I have prayed outloud for days. I won't stop anytime soon.

The Modern Age of Ubiquity
In this country you gotta make the money first
then you get the power
First chance look at afterbirth phonetics
A real clam shell
positively ape
a no mans lands of forbidden fruits
quasi spiritual
true and robust in it's nature
Lounge around the camp fire
it's brisk here
earth gnomes and feather people
vibrating tongues
leather eyes
a satchel for pebbles and bone
all's quiet on the western front
Here we bring in the trash
and put out the clothes
naked vibrant and celestial
rampant laughter and thoughts
nonstop chatter
the ebb and flow of time
its all that matters
Paint a picture for me
call it The Modern Age of Ubiquity
I'll put it away
bring it out in a year
and we can sit around it drinking tea
and talk about what a lovely thought it was
and how the lines bring us back
to the day
when the world was a simple place
then you get the power

Don't You Know Its Nighttime?
Hey, those are my ribs
my bones you shove.
your tiny feet...or are they
hands?
Sleeping I lie, your
fathers arm tucked around
me from behind me...
as usual.
That's when you
decide its
time to move your legs
time to move your arms
hey, are these ribs?
I'll just kick them
they're in my way
MY WAY.
Selfish, but allowed to be
my son already
and I'm totally
in love.
Loving you has...
made me love me
made him love him
made us love eachother...again.
Hurry.

hiccups
The sudden you.
Father, Mother, Sun
Lips face and tongue
the new embrace of life
its a coming
Circular and vibrant
pulsating hearbeat rythm
kicking and moving
encompassed
lively
Rings jump to life
interconnection
always here, always near
the ever changing sameness
of being
We bring on the bring on
we connect the connected
we live the lives
that live life
forever

"The secret to success is sincerity. Once you can fake that, you've got it made." - Jean Giraudoux
"The progressive development of man is vitally dependent on invention. It is the most important product of his creative brain. Its ultimate purpose is the complete mastery of mind over the material world, the harnessing of the forces of nature to human needs." - Nikola Tesla

Push comes to shovels
Sweet elastic film. The kind that grabs you and splits your eyeballs with acorn-like rainbows. Magical elves dancing in skittles commercials. Glossy popcorn popped fresh in automotive paint shops. Bumpers dented and hanging having fulfilled their purpose. Shiny windowshields shielding wind from shine. Plausible possibilities. We all organize ourselves as I do in the morning. Gather together. Look at myself in the mirror. Squirel face and large hands. Possum paws, more like racoons, blindly act on the ideas I send them. When I outstretch my arm it looks alien. Something out of a movie or an automotive assembly line. Foreign and strange. I can pick my headphones up with just a thought. Placing them on my head bone for ears to hear. Sound vibrates air. Pushing pushes. Thoughts ignite. I start to write.
In The Elevator
Today, as I was going to the 5th floor of my office, I got into the elevator with a couple. They seemed my age, dressed to the 9's as is everyone I work with. They didn't share a glance, not even a touch, but there was electricity. I could feel it, sense it...I know that feeling, the feeling of unmistakeable magnetic attraction when its being fought against for whatever reason. As I stepped out onto my floor, the doors began to close and the girl spoke to him thinking that I couldn't hear:
"Do you still love your wife then?" she asked.
as the doors slid closed, he replied:
"No, but I don't know how to leave her..."
